Punch Art

Really loving all the creations I've made with my Stampin' Up punches! Here is another card that will be created at my stamp camp on the 17th of February.
Such a simple card to make--embossed the whisper white card stock, made the ladybug using my 1-3/4 circle punch, and added dots. Its the perfect good luck or congratulations card!

Punch Art

It's so much fun to come up with a new way to use all the fabulous Stampin' Up punches! My next stamp camp on Sunday, February 17th will be using punches to create "punch art" (visit my website at www.stampwithlora.stampinup.net for more details). Here is another one of the five cards we will be creating:
It's the perfect baby card using the 1-3/4" circle to make the carriage along with the 1/2" circle for the wheels. I added a bit of detail with the border punch, and added a sentiment.

Let's get punchy!

My next card class that I will be holding will be on Sunday, February 17th from 1:30 to 3:30. The theme is punch art cards. We will be creating 5 cards with envelopes using various punches from the Stampin'Up catalog.

I always struggle in coming up with a "masculine" card but have to say, I love how this one turned out!
This card is perfect for that Mr. Fix-It in your life. The wrench was created using the 1/2" circle, 1-1/4" circle, and word window. It's the perfect card to give to your special guy. Want to make this card? Go to my Stampin' Up website at www.stampwithlora.stampinup.net to register for this class and see a complete listing of my other events as well!

Valentine Day Frame

It's been a while since I've posted, between life and the dreaded flu that has made its way through the house I haven't made my way here! Well, I'm back and gearing up for Valentine's Day! I am holding my monthly card class on Sunday, and created a cute little frame for my raffle basket.
I took a wood frame and painted it pink--perfect for the hearts and flowers holiday right around the corner. I then embellished it with rosettes that are made with Stampin' Up's flirtatious fabric--love the prints in this set of fabric! Finished it off with one of the dollies from the artisan embellishment kit in Stampin' Up's spring catalog. Perfect for displaying a picture of someone you love! Here is a close-up of the rosette flowers:
