Happy 50th!

I know the 4th of July constitutes lots of celebrating all around the USA, and its no different for my family. Not only do we celebrate our freedom on that day but my older brother, Paul was born on the 4th....another wonderful reason to celebrate! This year is a big milestone for him.... I thought a very special card celebrating his day was in order.

 I stuck with a red, white and blue theme but added a 5-0 in glimmer paper to mark the special occasion. I hope that this card shows him that he is a special guy that brings "sparkle" to our family. Happy 50th Birthday Paul...love ya!

Every year when the new catalog comes out, I get my wish list ready and this year is no different. Another new stamp set--Label Love--is used to make this card.

I also used the new washi tape from the catalog--I love them all! Its the perfect accent piece to any card or project.
